These were the words that used to define me

Now no one seems to agree

I feel left out in the cold

Like life has passed me by

I work each day

To find a place to achieve

To keep the hope and believe

To believe that I have not withered away

To know that I have something left to say

The world has torn me down

I no longer smile

And laugh at what is around

I sink and think about what was

I have lost my buzz

I want another shot

To prove to myself that I have value

To show the world I am not done
